ABODAQ 2024 Repertoire Reading Day
Booking is now open for the annual ABODAQ Repertoire Reading Day! Tickets are FREE for ABODAQ Members and $25 for non members.
The ABODAQ committee invite you to join us for the 2024, ABODAQ annual Repertoire Reading Day being held at Brisbane State High School PAC, Merrivale Street South Brisbane.
Registration will open at 9AM with Trade displays from our supporters and sponsors Brass Music Specialists and Musicfest, Other Music Australia, Matt Klohs, Middle C Music, Tim Ferrier and Brolga Music Publishing.
The Concert Band Reading session will be lead by Prof. Rob McWilliams with thanks to Yamaha Music Australia where we will read through new release charts and Musicfest set pieces. This will be followed by a session with Dr Rachel Howley, who will present works from the Australian Women's Wind Band Composition Award.
Scott King will lead the Jazz Ensemble Reading Session from 3 - 5PM.
Morning tea, Lunch and afternoon tea will be provided during the day.
